Whole Foods announced it was purchasing seven former Dominick’s stores. The locations are:
In the city
1 N. Halsted St – West Loop
225 E. Grand Ave. – Streeterville
959 W. Fullerton Ave. – Lincoln Park
6009 N. Broadway Ave. – Edgewater

Suburban locations
6300 S. Robert Kingery Highway – Willowbrook
2748 Green Bay Road – Evanston
215 S. Route 83 – Elmhurst

The locations will be closed for all of 2014 while undergoing renovations and will reopen in 2105.
